Un magnífico libro escrito por Vern S. Poythress, ideal para todo estudiante de seminario o laico que desee aprender mucho más sobre la interpretación bíblica. El libro esta dividido en ocho partes, en las cuales el autor nos lleva de lo sencillo a lo complejo de la interpretación. Todo es explicado de una manera excelente, además el autor nos provee de muchos ejemplos.
Para los que han leído algo sobre el tri-perspectivismo de John Frame, el libro se les hará muy familiar, pero para aquellos que somos nuevos en el tri-perspectivismo, el autor nos ayuda a adentrarnos en la tríada (existencial, normativo, situacional).
Es un libro que disfrute mucho, cuando llegas a la parte VI, el autor aborda algo tan sublime como la interpretación redentiva - histórica y puedes comprender mucho mejor la interpretación cristocéntrica de las Escrituras.
Este libro me ayudo mucho, y me seguirá ayudando para comprender las Escrituras, no bajo un simple método sino bajo la presencia de Dios.
Lo recomiendo encarecidamente a todo el que quiera iniciar en el estudio de las Escrituras.

A wonderful book written by Vern S. Poythress, ideal for all seminary student or layman who wants to learn more about biblical interpretation. The book is divided into eight parts, in which the author takes us from the simple to the complex on the interpretation. Everything is explained in an excellent manner, also the author provides us many examples.
For those who have read about the tri-perspectivism John Frame, the book will make very familiar, but for those who are new to the tri-perspectivism, the author helps us get into the triad (existential, normative, situational).
It is a book I enjoy a lot, when you get to the part VI, the author deals with something so sublime as the redemptive - historical interpretation , and you can understand much better the Christocentric interpretation of Scripture.
This book helped me a lot, and will continue helping me to understand the Scriptures, not under a simple method but under the presence of God.
I recommend this book highly to anyone who wants to start in the study of the Scriptures.
